We specialize in creating, developing and producing commercial maize hybrids for agricultural seed companies to sell exclusively under their own brands.

Our History

Trimble Genetics International, LLC. was established in 2001 in the USA by its President and Founder Michael W. Trimble, Ph.D.

To meet customer demands we established our first research nursery field operations in Argentina in 2002. This was followed by nursery field operations in the USA in 2003, Mexico in 2007 and Guatemala in 2010. Activities for expanding nursery field operations into Africa have begun.

Managing our own nursery operations enables us to provide excellent customer support for our customers' maize seed needs 365 days per year, and has allowed us to better manage seed quality and global logistics issues.

In recent years, to further meet customer needs, we have expanded into parent seed and commercial hybrid maize seed production. Today we manage research, parent seed and commercial hybrid production for our clients globally.
